Graphic Designer

What do you do at Gloo? I’m involved in all areas of graphic design across digital, print and branding projects, with a particular focus on web design.

What are your credentials/experience for working in your position? I have a bachelor of Visual Communications from UTAS, as well as a diploma in music and multimedia, and studied design at Tafe. I have worked as a designer for local and international businesses throughout my career.

What do you like about working at Gloo? I like the team at Gloo. There are good vibes and the work is stimulating. We all have great strengths and unique abilities that make for a great team environment.

What are the values that drive you? Dedication to doing the best job that I can, being creative and innovative.

What are your top 3 favourite podcasts/books? I don’t read enough these days but the current book I’m reading is ‘Thinking Fast and Slow’ by Daniek Kahneman, it has some great wisdom and insight into how we think.

What are your hobbies and interests? I’m trying to surf as much as possible and love being out in the ocean. I’ve been playing guitar and also collaborating with some friends with music and making some music videos. I’m also in the process of setting up a saltwater aquarium and like to dive.

What are your favourite travel destinations? Probably Italy and Launceston. I hope to visit Italy again soon and love the rich culture. Launceston also has a rich culture.

What personal projects are you working on? I have an art project on the go and am painting and experimenting with digital art. I’m working towards an exhibition.
